The Accounts Payable Specialist will follow established procedures to ensure accounts payable function is performed efficiently and with a high level of organization.
Sort and review invoices and check requests for proper account codes, division codes, discounts, and payment terms.
Timely input of invoices and check requests.
Set up and maintain accounts payable filesRespond to questions and invoicing issues with vendorsReview all AP-related processes and weekly expense reportsPreferred Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
Associates Degree in Accounting and/or 2
years of related experienceAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages.
